Bird Copper Hose Pot

This stylish hose holder is embossed with the image of a bird on its side. The picture here simply doesn’t do it justice, click on the image to see it in its larger format. With a copper finish over its steel body, it’s built to last a long time in the outdoors, while still looking charming. It would be a perfect outdoor accessory for those looking to hide their hoses. The manufacturing company claims it can hold up to 150 feet of hose, and my own testing shows it can hold at least 100 feet of hose comfortably. The holder has a round center core in which you wrap the hose, I wouldn’t want to try and wrap 150 feet though, as any used hose would need quite a bit of crimping to get it to fit. The bottom of the holder contains drain holes which allow any residue water in the hose to escape out of the pot. The matching lid will help keep debris and rain out of the hose holder.

Preparing for Winter: I do suggest that you bring the entire hose holder and hose in during the freezing months. Leaving a hose outside, even while in a pot such as this, will quickly wear it out. The pot itself weighs about 10 lbs. With 100 ft of AquaPure Neverkink Garden Hose, you’d be looking at around 20 lbs to carry in the winter. The dimensions of the pot are 18 inches wide, and about 12 inches high. To find out more information concerning this copper garden hose pot click on the following link: (more…)
